Flash File ZTE Blade A31 Plus

The ZTE Blade A31 Plus uses a Unisoc/Spreadtrum (SPD) chipset, which means it flashes with the Unisoc ResearchDownload / SPD Upgrade Tool and a .pac firmware file — not QFIL or SP Flash Tool.

When you need this

Flash the stock ROM when the phone is bootlooping, stuck on the logo, or dead after an update. For a forgotten lock screen only, use a hard reset.

Before you start

  • Back up your data — flashing erases everything.
  • Install the Unisoc/SPD USB drivers (guide).
  • Download the .pac ROM that matches the A31 Plus model and region.

How to flash with ResearchDownload

  • Open ResearchDownload and use Load Packet to select the .pac file.
  • Click Start Downloading, then connect the powered-off phone (hold Volume Down).
  • Wait for the green “PASSED” bar, then boot.

Common problems

  • Not detected: install the SPD driver and try another USB port.
  • “Verify fail”: the .pac doesn’t match this exact model/region.

FAQ

Can I use SP Flash Tool instead?

No — SP Flash Tool is for MediaTek. The Blade A31 Plus is Unisoc, so use the Unisoc tool.
