Keypad phones (Nokia 105/110, itel, Lava, Jio and other feature phones) don’t have Android’s recovery menu, so you reset them either from the settings menu or with a master reset code typed on the dialer.
Method 1 — reset from the menu
Go to Settings → Restore / Reset → Restore factory settings. If it asks for a security code, the default is usually 0000 or 1234 unless you changed it.
Method 2 — master reset codes
From the home screen, type one of these codes. They work on many feature phones, but the exact code varies by brand, so check your model if one doesn’t respond:
- *2767*3855# — full factory reset on many MediaTek feature phones
- *#7370# — reset on older Nokia / Series 40 phones
- *#*#7780#*#* — lighter reset on some models
Caution: these codes wipe the phone with no confirmation. Back up first.
Forgot the phone-lock code?
