Flash File Kyocera Digno C

The Kyocera DIGNO C is a Qualcomm-based Japanese-carrier handset, so it flashes through QFIL in EDL (9008) mode — the Qualcomm method, not SP Flash Tool.

When you need this

Flash the DIGNO C stock ROM if it is bootlooping, stuck on the Kyocera logo, or won’t boot after an update. For a forgotten lock screen, use a hard reset instead.

Before you start

  • Back up your data — flashing wipes the phone.
  • Install the Qualcomm USB drivers (guide).
  • Use firmware that matches the DIGNO C exactly — not another DIGNO model.

How to flash with QFIL

  • Open QFIL and load the firehose programmer plus the rawprogram/patch files from the ROM.
  • Power the phone off and connect it in EDL (9008) mode using its key combo.
  • Click Download and wait for “Download Succeed”, then boot.

Common problems

  • Not detected: reinstall the Qualcomm 9008 driver or change USB port.
  • “Sahara fail”: wrong firehose/variant for this device.

FAQ

Does this remove the Google/FRP lock?

No — you’ll still need the previous Google account after flashing.
